Jack and I have been on a cabbage kick for a while (don’t ask me why!) but I was wanting something a little more flavorful than just chopped, steamed cabbage.  Here it is!  This recipe is a bit tangy with a big kick.  Prepare it and put it in the oven before making dinner and it’ll be ready in time for the rest of the meal.

Ingredients:

1/2 head of cabbage (double remaining ingredients if you want to use up the whole cabbage)
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of chili powder

Preheat oven to 400F.  Slice cabbage into one inch slices.  Mix all ingredients except the chili powder and brush on one side of the cabbage and place on a baking pan.  Pour and brush remaining marinade on other side of cabbage.  Sprinkle with desired amount of chili powder.  Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes, depending on desired tenderness.
