Chocolate? M&M’s? Cookies? Oh, yeah. We went there.

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup M&M’s
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat or spritz with cooking spray. Beat together butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar and brown sugar. When well combined, add in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flours, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Add dry mixture to wet mixture until just combined. Stir in M&M’s and chocolate chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet, at least two inches apart. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until cookies are firm but still soft in the center. Cool completely before storing.
