I’ve started saving the lids from used up paint cans to sort of keep track of just how many gallons it takes to paint our house, top to bottom, inside and out.  I’ve gotten to about thirty but that’s not including several five gallon drums of primer or the dozen or so paints that are currently being employed on ceilings and trim and doors and walls.  I estimate I’m about halfway done with painting.

That’s a lot of paint.
