In our day, Stoney and I won a wall full of ribbons in everything from eventing to dressage to show jumping. Though we were a novice pair, Stoney usually caught the judges’ eyes–it’s not every day a paint competes in English disciplines.
He’s handsome and he knows it.
But before we had much success, we had our share of blunders during practice.

As the wise saying goes, If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
We did. It was worth it.

I used to hate it but I'm glad I didn't toss it. I like it a lot more when I think of it in perspective of how far I've come as a rider. 🙂
