Claire isn’t quite a year old yet but increasingly more, she’s choosing to walk. I keep thinking, “Aren’t you a little young for that?!” Not that I’m not excited to see her master another skill, especially one that doesn’t require me to be her pack mule and carry her everywhere. The fear lies in the fact that once she walks, running shortly follows. With Evelyn already quite capable of sprinting away from me, two children dashing in opposite directions seems a bit overwhelming.
Apparently some of my friends have had siblings or children of their own that are up on two feet much younger than even Claire. I guess I should be more thankful.
