I thought I’d start offering a few tips that I’ve found useful as a mother, wife, homemaker, equestrian fanatic, farm owner, gardener, writer, runner . . . whatever else I like to pretend I am. Consider it friendly advice that you can take or leave though I tend to find it useful.
My first tip is in regards to kids. Heck, it could also be used for hungry spouses, significant others, pets, etc. When you’ve got something soft that needs to be cut into small pieces (waffles, grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, pancakes, etc), consider using a pizza cutter instead of a knife. It’s a lot quicker and when seconds count in adverting a hunger meltdown, it can really help.
