Moist and flavorful cake!
We had a fantastic Christmas party at church and we brought this cake to share. It  makes lots of sweet, moist, flavorful cake to share and I had all the ingredients on hand (I’m not a big boxed cake or weird ingredient fan). It was a hit!
Ingredients:

Cake
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease a 10x15x1 inch jelly roll pan (or similar-sized pan). Melt the butter and add the water. Then, add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into pan and bake for 15 to 25 minutes (time will depend on the size of pan and thickness of cake). Cake is done when a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Cool for 20 to 30 minutes before frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Sprinkles, optional
Combine all ingredients, except sprinkles, until smooth. Spread over cake and top with sprinkles, if desired.
