| Meet my ancestors! |
I set a goal at the beginning of the year to index 1,000 records through Family Search and each Sunday, I’ve logged on and worked toward that goal. I’m happy to say I accomplished it!

Indexing consists of digitizing and documenting records to make them more accessible and include everything from census records to marriage, birth and death certificates. It sounds like a tedious process, and sometimes concentrating while trying to decipher scrawling cursive gives me a headache, but it has been fascinating to me to learn about people who lived before me and some small part of their life.
I’ve always loved looking at old photos and wondering what life was like for people. Indexing has, in a way, has given me insight and a greater appreciation for the lives of those who have gone before.
