We were spared too many injuries while dealing with all the broken glass.  I shed more blood that morning pulling out a dead bush than I did clearing out the mirrors.

Yesterday afternoon, I decided to tackle a project that I’d been avoiding for weeks: our column of mirrors, a.k.a. the Tower of Vanity.  It was quite the demolition but with Jack’s help, we figured out how to pull everything down without breaking every single mirror.  Between the two of us, we’re probably only looking at 50 years of bad luck a piece.  That’s manageable, right?

That’s a lot of looking at yourself.

Now to decide what to do with the column (since it appears to be supporting the above ceiling), some paint, tile and the entryway will be another check off the list.
