I like to keep a jar of this in the fridge for an ice cream topping or to make snack time a little more sweet and special.  It fits perfectly between my homemade marshmallow fluff and chocolate syrup.

Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 Tablespoons butter
Pinch of salt
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk (here’s a substitute if you’re out)

Combine all ingredients except the peanut butter and evaporated milk.  Microwave for four minutes, stirring twice (or bring to a boil on the stove, stirring frequently).  Add peanut butter and stir until smooth.  Add in milk.  Keep refrigerated.  Reheat to serve over ice cream if desired.
