After dinner, we decided to head out and enjoy the nice weather.  We collected some rocks, found the eggs in the hens’ nest box, moved the goat’s cage to fresh grass and ran with abandon.  Then Claire wanted a pony ride from daddy, so he obliged.  The only thing funnier than watching Jack amble across the yard on his hands and knees with a delightfully squealing Claire on his back was the reaction of the horses:

Of all the things to spook at, a dad imitating one of them is apparently the freakiest.

  1. Awww that was just so funny!! I adore horses, you are so lucky being able to live so close to them and live where you live!! its so funny that they are spooked by him doing that!! they kept coming back and staring though so obviously trying to work out what he was!!! lol! i am just a new follower and have really enjoyed reading your posts!!! you are so lucky to have all the animals!! i hope you are able to move somewhere that you can still keep them!! i have a cat called alice 😀 and she is naughty too!!

  2. Haha bless the horses! How funny. I would love one day to have lots of animals would keep me entertained for hours, though not sure I would blog much more if I had them lol.
