The apartment pool finally opened even though the hot weather showed up months ago. We took the girls Thursday evening but it was full of about twenty rowdy kids swimming and cannonballing in a pool the size of a matchbox. Obviously everyone else in the complex was eager to cool off too. So, we got in the car and drove down the street to a nearby splash pad. The girls–as I’m told I was as a toddler–are water babies.
