While I slept last night, I accomplished one of the goals on my never-ending list–the blog reads reached 10,000! Though I’m fairly certain about 95% of the views are from my mother and mother-in-law, it was a goal I was happy to see fulfilled. I want readers to find some helpful, entertaining or otherwise inspiring information and stories as they peruse the entries. Sure, others may not want to live in a fixer-upper in the country while raising two kids and their husband is in school but I hope it spurs others to also challenge themselves to attain their own goals.
I think I’ll do a giveaway to celebrate. Any suggestions?

I have seriously considered it. I have way to much on my hands and have three sheep worth of wool waiting for me back home. Maybe I'll give them away with a pair of carders and a hand spinner…
